Copy, paste, and compare
Don't need to compare an entire document? Copy text from any source and paste it directly into compareDocs. Then, review the changes and keep working fast. Press play to see it explained.
Save time and compare only the text you need
Comparing entire versions of a document isn't the best way to see changes in small text sections. With compareDocs, you can save time and compare selected text instead.
To do so, right-click on the text you want to compare in Word and choose 'Compare Selected Text' from your dropdown menu.
Or, if it's text from an email, web page, or another source, copy-paste it directly into compareDocs. The application will create a Word document with the contents of your Clipboard.
The same comparison report options are still available when you compare snippets of text. View the changes in an interactive Word document with Track Changes, or report on them using a PDF or Word document marked up with static redline.
You can also review the different snippet versions by reviewing them side-by-side using 3-Pane View in compareDocs.
